Position Overview
The Moves, Adds & Changes (MAC) Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing revenue opportunities related to incremental modifications and expansions of existing low-voltage systems across all markets served. This role focuses on ongoing customer relationships and recurring sales tied to fire alarm systems, nurse call systems, critical communications systems, security, and audio-visual (A/V) systems.
What You'll Do
Sales & Account Management

Manage and grow assigned accounts with a focus on MAC opportunities.

Proactively identify system changes driven by building reconfigurations, campus expansions, modernization efforts, code compliance, or technology upgrades.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with administrators, facilities directors, IT staff, and purchasing departments.

Serve as the primary sales contact for existing customers requiring system modifications or enhancements.
Project Development

Evaluate customer needs and translate them into scoped solutions for fire alarm/security, nurse call, critical communications, and A/V systems.

Conduct site walks and collaborate with engineering, operations, and service teams to develop accurate proposals.

Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and scope clarifications.

Ensure MAC projects are properly documented, priced, and transitioned to operations.
Pipeline & Revenue Management

Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of MAC opportunities.

Track opportunities, forecasts, and customer interactions within the CRM system.

Meet or exceed assigned sales targets related to MAC revenue and account growth.

Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services, upgrades, or maintenance agreements.
Market & Compliance Awareness

Maintain working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and district requirements related to low-voltage systems in healthcare, K-12 and commercial facilities.

Stay informed on evolving technologies and best practices within fire alarm/security, nurse call, critical communications, and A/V systems.

Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, end-user presentations, and industry events as needed.
What We're Looking For
-
3+ years of sales experience in the low-voltage systems industry.

Direct experience selling or supporting MAC-type work (moves, adds, changes, small projects, retrofits).

Knowledge of fire alarm systems, nurse call systems, critical communications systems, security, and/or A/V systems.

Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously with attention to detail.

Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, maintain active automobile policy, and ability to travel locally to customer sites.
